Started off making the general body shape and then pushing it to a more distinctive chow silhouette.

Face Details

Wanted to make sure that the two dogs had different jaw position and amounts of tongue, so handled the posing in segments.

Hair Raising

Experimented with blocky stylized fur/ hair treatments for the dog sculpts.

Side by Side

Though I started with the same base for both dogs, I spent time on specific parts of the sculpt to bring in the distinctive traits of both dogs. Broader muzzle versus narrower muzzle, common ear positions, tail plume length and tail positions.
